At the-kid.co, your satisfaction is our priority. We take great care to ensure that every item is delivered in perfect condition. Please review our return and refund policy below, specifically tailored for children’s clothing and accessories.
Returns
You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
- Unused, unworn, and in the same condition you received it
- Free from stains, odors, or signs of wear
- In its original packaging, with all tags and labels attached
Items that are worn, washed, altered, or damaged by the customer will not be accepted.
Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Items (Strict Policy)
For hygiene and special-occasion reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances:
- Party dresses (special occasion dresses)
- Swimwear & bikinis
- Underwear, socks, or intimate items
- Personalized or custom-made products
- Sale or clearance items
- Gift cards
Please make sure to review the size chart before purchasing these items.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email.
If approved, your refund will be issued within 7–14 business days, via the original payment method.
Please note:
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
- If a refund is approved, the original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
Exchanges
We only offer exchanges for:
- Defective or damaged items
- Wrong items delivered
- Size exchanges for eligible products (subject to stock availability)

Important: Party dresses and swimwear are not eligible for size exchanges.
Return Shipping Costs
- Customers are responsible for the cost of returning items.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
- We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at selin@the-kid.co with clear photos or video of the issue.
We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card provider—processing delays may occur.
- Contact your bank.
